Job Description:

Drive profitable sales for the Construction & Industrial business in the assigned territory
Develop, implement, and execute effective territory business plans
Prioritize end customers, markets, and distributors for effective territory management
Implement promotions and directives set by division management
Collaborate across other Construction & Industrial territories and 3M EMD Divisions to meet customer needs
Travel domestically up to 50%

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher, completed and verified prior to start, and three (3) years of direct sales and/or electrical construction/industrial experience
OR Associate's degree, completed and verified prior to start, and five (5) years of electrical industry sales experience
Current, valid driver's license
Sales experience in the Electric Construction & Industrial Market preferred as an additional qualification
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Aptitude to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications
Field/channel sales experience
Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to present to all levels
Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within assigned territory
Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization
Strong computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com, and database management
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively with peers
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
Pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle history review required for company vehicle driving
