About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned conversion and AI-first copywriter who understands that the future of marketing isn't about writing every word yourself – it's about combining experienced strategic thinking with AI workflows and expert editing to produce exceptional work.

In this role, you'll create high-performing email, SMS, and landing page copy for leading DTC brands while leveraging AI throughout the creative process. You'll still be responsible for developing original concepts and compelling marketing angles, but you'll use AI as a vehicle to research, brainstorm, draft, iterate, and refine deliverables faster than ever before.

This is a highly collaborative role. You'll work in lockstep with your Account Strategists to combine strategy, customer insights, and AI systems to produce client deliverables that exceed performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI throughout the entire creative process to produce stronger work, faster

• Create email, SMS, landing page, ad copy, and other marketing assets

• Build and refine AI prompts, skills, projects, and workflows that improve speed, quality, and consistency

• Develop campaign and flow concepts, messaging angles, and creative direction aligned with each client's strategy

• Translate customer insights into compelling, conversion-focused marketing opportunities

• Transform AI-generated drafts into polished, on-brand marketing assets

• Ensure all deliverables meet both Homestead's and the client’s quality standards for messaging, clarity, and accuracy

• Balance quality with speed, knowing when to refine and when to move work forward

• Partner closely with your Account Strategist as a true creative partner throughout campaign planning and execution

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, other copywriters, and account managers to bring campaigns to life

• Share ideas proactively and contribute to brainstorming, creative reviews, and client discussions

• Stay current on AI tools and prompting techniques

• Share new workflows and best practices to help evolve Homestead's AI capabilities

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly

• Manage multiple clients and deadlines while embracing feedback and iterating quickly

Qualifications

• 3+ years of copywriting experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or a related field

• Strong portfolio showcasing email, SMS, landing pages, paid ads, and other marketing assets

• Experience writing both acquisition and retention marketing copy

• Strong editing skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Advanced proficiency using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar to accelerate research, ideation, drafting, editing, and iteration

• Ability to write effective prompts, evaluate AI-generated content critically, and refine outputs to meet brand voice, performance, and quality standards

• Ability to balance speed with quality while managing multiple priorities

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Strong understanding of customer psychology and direct-response marketing

• Experience in eCommerce is required

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Experience with A/B testing and performance-based copy optimization

• Familiarity with prompt engineering or building repeatable AI workflows

• Experience working within a collaborative agency environment

Additional Information

This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be able to work standard business hours (9:00am–5:00pm) in ET, CT, MT, or PT time zones.
