Customer Rep., Telesales GHH -- NYC Metro Area
## Join Our Hybrid Sales Team Our Hybrid Sales team is dedicated to supporting our customers by providing clinical information about products, educational resources, and clinical training programs. We work closely with healthcare providers and systems to help meet the healthcare goals of patients in their communities. As a Pharmacy Vaccine Account Representative (PVAR), you'll be a key member of the Vaccine Account Team, playing a critical part in our Company's Vaccines customer engagement model. Your role involves engaging with assigned customers—such as pharmacies, medical groups, and physician offices—in a way that supports local population health and focuses on the highest-potential business opportunities to improve public health outcomes. ### What You'll Do In this role, you'll collaborate with the local market team to understand and identify customer needs, proactively align products and services, and support pull-through activities that align with integrated strategies. You'll ensure our Company is seen as demonstrating value and better health outcomes to healthcare professionals and their patients. All activities must adhere to the spirit and letter of Company Policies and US Laws and Regulations. You'll report to the Customer Team Leader (CTL) within our Company's Vaccine Customer Center and work closely with the broader Vaccine Field Sales and Vaccines Pharmacy Account Executive teams. This is a hybrid sales position—about 60% of your engagements with healthcare providers will occur remotely, while the remaining 40% will require travel for live customer meetings and quarterly company meetings. Typical hours for our Vaccines Customer Center are 8 AM to 7 PM EST, Monday through Friday, with hours aligned to your geographic time zone (Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific). Since the center provides vaccine information and support across time zones, your hours may vary depending on your territory assignment. You must live in the New York City Metropolitan Area, which includes NYC, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, Southern Connecticut, and Westchester County. For all employees, we encourage you to have a conversation with your manager about your interest in this opportunity and to ensure alignment with your Employee Development Plan. ### Account Management & Contracting You'll manage multiple interdependencies within accounts, considering customer healthcare goals and needs, and maximize account performance through collaborative business planning. This includes conducting business reviews with stakeholders to discuss the financial impact of contracts and the progress of targeted vaccine programs. You'll maintain a complete understanding of contract terms and conditions, apply knowledge of contracts and historical ordering patterns to optimize vaccine purchases and inventory, and establish performance metrics to evaluate progress and adjust plans as needed. You'll also apply your knowledge of our full vaccine portfolio, competitive brands, immunization recommendations, and protocols to help integrate standards of care and develop vaccination protocols. Managing customer supply, product transitions, and back-order communications will be part of your daily responsibilities. ### Sales Acumen You'll build trust with customers and demonstrate value in selling situations to deliver high-quality engagements that improve health outcomes across pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations. You'll work cross-functionally with field sales counterparts to provide support and resources that help customers achieve their health goals. By leveraging customer insights, you'll change behaviors and create compelling rationales for the value of our vaccines, both clinically and commercially. Asking strategic, insightful questions to understand customer healthcare needs is essential, and you'll use those insights to position our vaccines and commercial offers effectively. ### Customer Segmentation & Targeting You'll divide your assigned customer population into groups with similar characteristics and buying behaviors, allowing you to focus your efforts effectively. You'll evaluate and prioritize business across customer segments, apply insights to allocate marketing and field resources differentially, and customize discussions and interactions based on each customer's unique needs. ## Qualifications **Education:** - **S1:** Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years of sales experience, OR a minimum of a high school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience (which could include professional sales, marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific fields like pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices). - **S2:** Bachelor’s degree with 3 or more years (36+ months) of sales experience, OR a minimum of a high school diploma with at least 6 years of equivalent experience (including professional sales, marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific fields not necessarily sales-related).
