We want you on our team if you enjoy working outside and delivering and installing systems for customers.<br><br>Drives any truck (manual transmission) including trucks and trailers with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, to pick up, deliver and unload company pipe and equipment. Positively represents the Company and maintains good relations with customers.<br><br><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<br><br></strong>This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.<br><br><ul><li>Candidates must be able to drive a manual transmission. </li><li>Loads, secures, and unloads materials and equipment with appropriate tools, machinery, and other equipment for scheduled delivery to customers or other Branches. </li><li>Assist field crew with unloading equipment and installing tanks, pumps, pipes, hoses, fittings and filtration systems according to specifications and requirements of job. </li><li>Complete Job Site Analysis for customer or job sites where work is to be performed. </li><li>Interact with customers to obtain signatures for work orders and invoicing as required. </li><li>Keep accurate written records and work orders of all deliveries and pick-ups. </li><li>Maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) driver’s logs according to state and federal regulations. </li><li>Comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Department of Transportation regulations and requirements. </li><li>Perform required pre- and post-trip truck inspections and report any needed maintenance/repair to Branch Foreman in writing. </li><li>Assist in installation of tanks, pumps, pipes, fittings, and related equipment as requested. </li><li>Complete paperwork in a timely, complete, and acceptable manner. Paperwork includes rental orders, red/green tag inspection forms, complete service jobs, drivers log, and Empower Time. </li><li>Perform minor emergency roadside repairs. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Other Competencies:<br><br></strong>Other job competencies required to be successful in this position that are not listed elsewhere include:<br><br><ul><li>Able to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. </li><li>Able to use a calculator, cellular telephone, and tape measure/ruler. </li><li>Able to read a map, plan routes and calculate distances. </li><li>Ethical stewardship, results oriented, teamwork, problem solving, interpersonal skills, functional expertise. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations</strong>: Valid Class A Driver’s license, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle record, ability to obtain a DOT Physical Card and Other industry-related certification may be required.<br><br><strong>Not required, but Preferred:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Winch truck experience</li><li>Experience with roll-offs and frac tanks<br><br></li></ul><strong>What we offer:<br><br></strong>At Rain for Rent® , we take pride in taking care of our team.
