For more information, please visit our </span><a href="https://www.michigan.gov/documents/mdhhs/MDHHS_Diversity_Equity_and_Inclusion_Plan_649033_7.pdf" style="color: inherit;text-decoration: underline;font-style: normal;text-align: left;text-indent: 0.0px;" target="_blank" title="Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Plan" data-uw-rm-ext-link="" data-uw-pdf-br="2" data-uw-pdf-doc=""><u>MDHHS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Plan</u>.</a></div><br><strong>Location:</strong><br><p data-pasted="true">Remote/Hybrid</p><br><strong>Must be willing to intern 10-20 hours a week</strong><br><br><p style="margin: 0.0in;" data-pasted="true"><strong>Intern Responsibilities / Projects: </strong></p><ul type="disc" style="margin-bottom: 3pt;" data-pasted="true"><li>Disaggregate and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from training evaluations and surveys.</li><li>Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for program improvement.</li><li>Develop data visualizations, dashboards, charts, and summary reports for stakeholders.</li><li>Assist in designing and implementing evaluation plans and data collection strategies.</li><li>Support the development of evaluative capacity-building resources, including tools, guides, and training materials.</li><li>Conduct literature reviews on evaluation methods and best practices.</li><li>Assist with survey development, administration, and analysis.</li><li>Help monitor program outcomes using established evaluation frameworks.</li><li>Prepare presentations and executive summaries for leadership.</li><li>Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.</li></ul><br><br><br><strong>At the time of internship, must be currently p</strong><strong>ursuing or holding a degree in fields such as Social Work, Human Services, Education, Child Development, Sociology, Public Policy, or Non-Profit Management.</strong><br><br><p data-pasted="true"><strong>Schedule: Flexible; approximately 10-20 hours per week</strong></p><p>Duration: Semester-based or as agreed</p><p style="margin: 0.0in;" data-pasted="true"><strong>Preferred Skills / Qualifications:</strong> </p><ul type="disc" style="margin-bottom: 3pt;" data-pasted="true"><li data-pasted="true">Coursework in program evaluation, research methods, or statistics.</li><li>Experience using Microsoft Excel; Qualtrics, Power BI, or similar software is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or Microsoft Forms.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Experience using data visualization software such as tableau, PowerPoint and other similar platforms</li></ul><br><p style="margin: 0.0in;"><br></p><strong><u>Required Skills:</u></strong><ul><li>Must be actively enrolled in a college and university</li></ul><br><ul><li>Must provide a copy of respective academic institution’s Internship Agreement outlining internship objectives and academic instructor’s name and telephone number.</li></ul>For questions regarding this internship, please contact Samantha Ruhl at <a href="mailto:RuhlS@michigan.gov">RuhlS@michigan.gov</a>.<br><br><img class="fr-fic fr-dii" src="https://secure.neogov.com/images/AgencyImages/jobposting/1608/jobpostings/image/2020_gold certified employer(1).png" style="width: 76.0px;">MDHHS is proud to be a Michigan Veteran’s Affairs Agency (MVAA) Gold Level Veteran-Friendly Employer.
