Female On-Camera Spokesperson Needed for Short Social Media Video Ads
We are looking for an attractive, confident, personable female on-camera spokesperson to record a series of very short video ads targeted to owners of electrical contracting businesses.
These are not long-form videos and you will not need to explain a complicated product or service.
Think short, natural “Hey, look…” / “If you own an electrical company, you need to see this…” style videos designed to stop someone scrolling and get them to click through to another video.
What We're Looking For
We want someone who is:
Female, approximately 25–45
Attractive and polished on camera
Warm, confident and conversational
Able to sound natural rather than like she's reading an advertisement
Comfortable delivering short scripts directly to camera
Capable of giving us several different takes, energies and openings
Able to record high-quality vertical video with good lighting and clear audio
Natural and believable is more important than overly polished or “salesy.”
Our audience is primarily male owners/operators of residential electrical service companies. We want the opening to catch their attention, but the spokesperson still needs to feel credible and professional.
The Assignment
We will provide the basic talking points/scripts.
Most videos will likely be 10–30 seconds long.
Examples of the general style:
“Hey—if you own an electrical company, you might want to watch this.”
“Electricians: I found something I think you're going to want to see.”
“If you own a residential electrical company and you've ever thought about adding HVAC, watch this.”
“Before you spend a fortune trying to start an HVAC department, you should probably hear what this guy has to say.”
The purpose of these videos is simply to create curiosity and encourage the viewer to click through and watch a short presentation from the business owner.
We would like to record/test multiple hooks and variations, not just one finished advertisement.
Recording
This can be recorded remotely using your own equipment.
Vertical smartphone video is perfectly acceptable—and may actually be preferred—provided you have:
Good lighting
Clean background/environment
Excellent audio
Current high-quality smartphone/camera
Ability to provide original high-resolution files
We may ask for different wardrobe/background variations so we can test different creative approaches.
When Applying
Please send:
Examples of you speaking naturally to camera—UGC ads are ideal.
Your rate for approximately 10–15 short video variations/hooks.
What phone/camera and microphone you use.
Whether you're comfortable doing several takes with different delivery styles.
Your turnaround time.
Please include a short sample video with your application if possible.
You don't need to produce or edit the final advertisements. We primarily need excellent raw on-camera footage that our team can edit and test.
This initial project is relatively small, but if the ads perform well, we expect to need a significant amount of additional creative for ongoing testing.
