Freight Forwarding Process Analyst (Remote)
<p><strong>Remote opening for Freight Forwarding Process Analyst with 25–40% travel throughout the U.S.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> The four key requirements are:</strong></p><ol><li><strong>Freight forwarding</strong> experience and knowledge</li><li><strong>Process mapping</strong> and <strong>VSM </strong>experience</li><li>Ability to work independently and lead stakeholder workshops</li><li>Ability to travel 25–40% throughout the U.S.</li><li>Looking at this more like a consultant - <strong>someone who will come in and look at the existing processes understand the why they aren't following the DP SOPs and then help work with teams to align them</strong></li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Tools:</strong> Core tools are<strong> Lucidchart </strong>and <strong>Visio for process documentation, as well as SIPOC diagrams.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong> Job Description:</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Process Analyst to support a transformation project focused on process discovery, mapping, and improvement.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have strong freight forwarding experience, hands-on process mapping and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) experience, and the ability to independently lead workshops with stakeholders across operations and business functions.</p><p>This role will work directly with operational teams to understand current-state processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and develop clear process maps and recommendations for future-state improvements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong> Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, process improvement, business analysis, or consulting.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of freight forwarding operations and processes.</li><li>Hands-on experience with process mapping and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).</li><li>Experience facilitating process discovery and cross-functional workshops.</li><li>Ability to independently engage with diverse stakeholders and lead structured discussions.</li><li>Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Ability and willingness to travel 25–40% throughout the U.S.</li></ul><p><br></p>
