Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gain an understanding of client needs and develop personalized treatment plans to address their unique circumstances.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that contribute to client well-being, applying solution-focused therapy techniques that align with best practices in the field.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with state regulations and safeguarding client confidentiality.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with a dedicated treatment team to deliver holistic care, discussing cases and sharing insights that enhance the overall treatment approach.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, fostering an environment of understanding and empowerment.
• Stay informed on the latest mental health research and clinical developments by participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient practice caters to a diverse clientele navigating varied mental health challenges. By focusing on trauma-informed care, we enable individuals from all walks of life, including those affected by domestic abuse, childhood trauma, and chronic stress, to engage meaningfully in their healing process. In this role, you will help clients develop skills and strategies to improve their mental health and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LMSW license in New York state.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a social work setting, particularly with outpatient clients.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions and effective therapeutic modalities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, complemented by exceptional interpersonal abilities.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling you to navigate complex client scenarios effectively.
• A commitment to working in a collaborative team atmosphere that prioritizes client-centered care.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will possess experience with a diverse range of mental health issues and familiarity with various therapeutic techniques. Exposure to community-based models of care is a plus, as well as a passion for ongoing learning and clinical development.
