Intake Coordinator, Home Health - Weekends Only & Fully Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Intake Support Coordinator to cover weekend intake operations for reputed company health agency. This role is responsible for coordinating intake activities, verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, supporting referral processing, and ensuring excellent customer service to patients, staff, and referral sources. This is a *reputed company to cover Intake on Saturday/Sunday with a schedule of 8 am – 5 pm! • CA residents only The hourly range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $27-$30; however, pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience. Key Responsibilities • Process and coordinate non-clinical intake referrals • Support referral entry, tracking, and distribution • Assist with phone coverage and daily intake operations • Verify insurance eligibility and coverage information • Obtain and track service authorizations and utilization • Communicate insurance and authorization reputed company to clinical, billing, and collections teams • Prepare payer reports as requested after clinical review • Perform data entry for service-related charges • Order and monitor medical supplies when needed • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance • Provide professional customer service and maintain positive working relationships • Support agency goals, policies, and performance improvement activities • reputed company additional duties as assigned Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM • Basic computer skills and strong organizational abilities • Customer service or client-facing experience required • At least one year of experience in home health, healthcare, hospital, or medical office setting preferred • Basic knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes preferred Top of Form Bottom of Form reputed company Assisted?
