Role: L2 DC TechLocation: Santa Clara, CADuration: 12+ MonthsShift: Wednesday – Saturday, 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform rack, stack, and cable installation of servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and GPU hardware.</li><li>Install rails, mount equipment, label assets, and maintain proper cable management and airflow standards.</li><li>Connect and verify power, fiber, and copper network cabling.</li><li>Support hardware moves, adds, and changes (MACs) across data center facilities.</li><li>Execute deployment activities following detailed runbooks and engineering documentation.</li><li>Perform basic hardware validation, LED checks, port verification, and physical troubleshooting.</li><li>Maintain accurate asset tracking, labeling, and infrastructure documentation.</li><li>Collaborate with Data Center Engineers, Network Engineers, and operations teams during deployments and migrations.</li><li>Adhere to ESD, safety, security, and operational best practices.</li><li>Support the decommissioning and removal of end-of-life hardware.</li></ul> Qualifications: Required Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise or large-scale data center environments.</li><li>Strong experience performing rack and stack deployments.</li><li>Knowledge of:</li><li>Server and network rack layouts</li><li>Structured copper and fiber cabling</li><li>Power Distribution Units (PDUs)</li><li>Experience installing enterprise server platforms including Dell, HPE, Supermicro, or equivalent hardware.</li><li>Ability to read rack elevation diagrams, installation guides, and deployment instructions.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work within confined rack environments.</li><li>Familiarity with ESD procedures and safe handling practices for sensitive hardware.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to execute tasks with precision. Preferred Qualifications</li><li>Experience working in hyperscale, AI, HPC, or GPU-dense data center environments.</li><li>Exposure to GPU infrastructure and high-performance computing platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of hot aisle/cold aisle containment best practices.</li><li>Experience supporting large hardware refresh, migration, or deployment projects.</li><li>Basic Linux operating system familiarity.
