About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced Finance professionals across Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Fund Finance, Fund Operations, and Fund Formation interested in contributing to an intensive AI research and evaluation project.

The role focuses on evaluating whether finance workflows and tasks accurately reflect real-world professional practice . You will apply your transaction, investment, and fund expertise to assess task realism, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and establish a high standard for evaluating advanced AI systems on complex financial work.

Responsibilities

Review finance tasks and workflows for professional realism, clarity, scope, and internal consistency .
Assess whether task inputs, assumptions, context, and expected workflows accurately reflect real-world finance practices.
Identify missing assumptions, ambiguous instructions, unsupported requirements, impractical constraints, and material edge cases.
Evaluate whether tasks meaningfully test real finance capabilities rather than generic financial knowledge.
Provide concise, structured written feedback and actionable recommendations to improve task quality.
Apply professional judgment across transaction, investment, diligence, valuation, modeling, and fund-related workflows.
Collaborate with other domain experts when necessary to maintain consistent evaluation standards.

Required Qualifications

5–7 years of relevant Investment Banking or Private Equity experience , or 5–10 years of relevant Fund Operations experience , for practitioner-level opportunities.
7–15 years of relevant professional experience for senior reviewer opportunities.
Professional background in one or more of the following areas: Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Fund Finance, Fund Operations, or Fund Formation .
Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, transaction analysis, due diligence, and investment writing .
Current or recent hands-on exposure to transaction execution, investment processes, or fund operations.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate assumptions, risks, issues, and recommendations.
Strong analytical judgment and exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience reviewing the work of deal teams, investment professionals, or fund teams.
Experience preparing or reviewing investment memoranda, transaction materials, financial models, diligence analyses, or fund deliverables .
Senior-level experience evaluating complex investment or transaction decisions.
Prior experience with AI evaluation, model training, or expert-review projects is a plus.

Engagement Details

High-engagement, project-based work.
Some assignments may require 2–4 hours of focused work in a single session .
Ability to remain responsive to project updates, questions, and feedback throughout active project periods.
Fully remote engagement.

Compensation

Competitive compensation of $151–$196/hour.
Weekly payments.
Independent contractor engagement.
