Remote CSR – NJ Residents Only

## Job Summary We are seeking dependable Remote Customer Service Representatives for a full-time opportunity supporting customers with questions related to applications, eligibility, and healthcare coverage. This Remote CSR role is open to New Jersey residents only, and residency will be verified. This is a strong opportunity for customer service professionals who enjoy helping others, working in a structured call center environment, and using technology to solve customer needs. The position offers paid training, ongoing coaching, and a supportive remote work environment designed to help representatives succeed. Successful candidates will be professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls while navigating multiple systems. This role is ideal for individuals who can work independently from home, follow detailed procedures, and maintain accuracy and confidentiality. ## Key Responsibilities - Answer inbound customer calls and provide courteous, professional support. - Assist customers with questions related to applications, eligibility, and healthcare coverage. - Enter, update, process, and document customer information accurately in required systems. - Follow established policies, scripts, procedures, and compliance guidelines. - Navigate multiple computer systems while assisting customers in real time. - Escalate complex questions or issues to the appropriate support resource when needed. ## Compensation and Benefits - Pay is $18.00 per hour for English-speaking representatives. - Pay is $19.00 per hour for English/Spanish bilingual representatives. - Full-time, temporary contract position. - Temp-to-hire opportunity. - 40 hours per week. - Remote work-from-home position for New Jersey residents only. - Must have full availability between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM ET, Monday through Sunday. - Candidates must be available to work any shift within operating hours, including Saturdays and Sundays. - Specific work schedules will be assigned based on business needs. - Training is approximately 3 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM ET. - Candidates must be on camera throughout training and nesting and maintain reliable attendance. ## Required Qualifications and Skills - Handle high-volume inbound customer service calls in a remote call center environment. - Assist customers with application, eligibility, and healthcare coverage questions. - Accurately document calls, update customer records, and follow compliance procedures. - Navigate multiple systems while maintaining professional customer communication. - Must currently live in New Jersey. New Jersey residency will be verified. - Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. - Must have at least 6 months of work experience. - Customer service experience is required. - Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills are required. - Strong computer navigation and data entry skills are required. - Must be able to multitask, follow detailed procedures, and maintain accuracy. - Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment. - Must have a private, quiet, dedicated workspace with minimal background noise or distractions. - Must be able to commit to a 40-hour work week. - Must have full availability from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET, Monday through Sunday. - Must be willing and able to work weekends as scheduled. - Must maintain reliable attendance during training and employment. - Must provide your own compatible computer and required equipment. - Computer must have Windows 11 Home or Pro, build version 24H2, or Mac OS 13 or higher. - Windows 10 is not supported. - Computer must have an Intel Core i5 or equivalent processor or better. - Computer must have at least 8 GB RAM and at least 256 GB storage. - A second monitor is required. - A webcam is required. - A smartphone capable of downloading the Microsoft Authenticator app is required. - iPads, Chromebooks, smartphones, and other mobile devices cannot be used as the primary work computer. - HP computer users must remove S Mode because it is not compatible with the required work environment. - Must have reliable traditional home internet with at least 25 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed. - Cellular-based internet services are not accepted. - Candidates should be prepared to complete or provide an internet speed test if requested. ## Preferred Qualifications - Call center experience is preferred. - Experience handling inbound customer service calls is preferred. - English/Spanish bilingual communication skills are preferred. - 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage are preferred for computer performance.
