[Remote] Plans Examiner (Health Facilities Consultant)

The Plans Examiner (Health Facilities Consultant) reviews architectural, engineering, and Fire Life Safety plans for healthcare facilities, supports project sponsors and architects with regulatory compliance, and assists licensing agencies in verifying compliance with state and federal standards. Responsibilities Manage architectural, engineering, and Fire Life Safety plan reviews Support project sponsors and architects in meeting all applicable regulatory requirements Assist licensing agencies in verifying that completed projects comply with state and federal standards Skills Two years of experience in the research, development, design, construction, alteration, or repair of Oregon health and residential care facilities AND A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or three more years of pertinent architecture experience The role requires the ability to manage multiple, often unrelated tasks simultaneously Demonstrated competence in applying relevant rules, codes, and standards is essential The position requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse partners, including facilitating the development of draft rule language Candidates should hold a current Oregon license as a Registered Architect or Professional Engineer Experience in designing or reviewing health care facilities and specialized residential care facilities is preferred Benefits Excellent, low-cost medical, vision, and dental coverage for you and your family.
