Senior Presales Technical Architect – Compute, Cloud Solution Provider

Job Description:

Lead solution architecture for large, multi-phase compute pursuits, including AI factories, GPU clusters, and high-density liquid-cooled environments
Design and size accelerated-compute solutions around NVIDIA GPU generations and interconnect choices
Set accurate expectations for performance, power, cooling, and cost
Turn architectures into validated, buildable configurations with accurate bills of materials
Produce power and cooling sizing and factory-integration-ready output
Create architecture diagrams, validated configurations and BOMs, capacity and power/cooling models, and TCO comparisons
Demonstrate expertise in solution domains, company products, services, solutions, and customer environments
Develop and review customer proposals
Manage internal stakeholder and customer expectations
Quantify business problems, position business value, and assess solution strengths and weaknesses
Translate outcome-based solutions into scalable functional and technical designs
Communicate solution value propositions addressing customer needs
Track emerging technologies and contribute to industry events, conferences, demos, and presentations
Gather and apply competitive intelligence
Drive account business planning and support customer transformation strategies
Conduct comparative analyses of alternative approaches
Develop, configure, and right-size workload solutions
Leverage partner products and services and transfer knowledge to external partners
Build sales pipeline through opportunity identification, upselling, and cross-selling
Monitor and nurture account opportunities through close
Participate in sales forecasts and document sales-cycle activities
Build relationships with customer executives
Share knowledge with peers and develop junior team members

Requirements:

First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications
Advanced degree in technology preferred
8+ years of technical experience in IT focused on technical consulting and solution selling
Knowledge-based and 1+ experience-based relevant industry certifications very strongly preferred
Enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies/certifications helpful but not required
Advanced experience leading solution configurations and creating demos and proofs-of-concept
Advanced understanding of company products, software, services, solution domains, and adjacent domains
Ability to translate aaS ecosystems, value, solutions, workloads, and consumption models into customer outcomes
Advanced understanding of aaS business model variations
Advanced cross-functional collaboration skills
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate in English and applicable local languages as needed
Advanced discussion and persuasion skills
Advanced business and financial acumen, including TCO/ROI concepts, calculations, and financial models
Advanced consultative/value selling skills, including whiteboarding, objection handling, and closing
Advanced company business knowledge, technical tools, and CRM systems
