Shift: Monday-Friday; 7am-3:30pm

Job description:
This position is inside a machine shop, and has a lot to do with Quality Assurance. You will become the gatekeeper of quality and efficiency. You'll be instrumental in managing the seamless flow of materials and equipment, directly impacting our client's success.
Responsibilities and Functions:
- Compare the quantity and part description of items received with the purchase order to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
- Examine incoming items for defects in materials either from work performed or damage occurred in transit.
- Compare Material Test Reports to material specifications to ensure compliance.
- Approve or reject items and record inspections and disposition information on company receipt inspection documents.
- Pickup and/or drop off of parts, calibrated equipment, and materials to suppliers and vendors, as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record
- Must have experience with detail-oriented work. Mistakes made in Mil-Spec and Level 1 material could put the lives of the end user on the line.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, read specifications, and have a basic understanding and knowledge of the periodic table of elements.
