Job Description:

The Opportunity: The Organic Social Media & Influencer Co-op will work directly with the organic social media and influencer team and in partnership with external agency partners to play an important role in the day-to-day execution of organic social media and influencer content. Responsibilities include sourcing standout user-generated content (UGC), posting and reviewing social media content, and reporting on social media performance. As part of the team, they will contribute ideas, key learnings, and optimizations to better inform content and posting recommendations. They will have a strong understanding of the overall organic social media and influencer process for @tjmaxx, from briefing, posting, and reporting. The co-op can also create social content for our various channels: Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Facebook. This position has a strong emphasis on professional development, and the co-op will have the opportunity to network and build relationships with team members across the organization while fine-tuning their professional skillset. Candidates should have a basic understanding of social media, marketing trends, as well as an eye for current fashion & home trends. TJ Maxx Organic Social Media & Influencer Co-op Responsibilities Performance: Weekly: Flag top-performing content and partner with manager to share performance with internal stakeholders Weekly: Track performance metrics for across all social platforms Monthly: Monitor competitive landscape and identify current social trends UGC (User-Generated Content): Find top-performing UGC for @tjmaxx to repost on social platforms Request UGC and track approvals OS Upkeep: Create ad-hoc marketing decks with content examples or competitor analysis Post social content on platforms including Instagram, TikTok, & Threads Inputting content briefs and contributing thoughts on future content Additional Requests: Internal Asks (Sentiment Exploratory, Best Performers) Store communication & fulfilling gift card requests Opportunistic content creation Monitor social media landscape for trends What You'll Get Out of It: / Learn about the unique business model of TJX / Understand how organic social media and influencers drive consideration, trust, and brand-love through high-quality and authentic social content / Be hands-on & work in a small, collaborative team environment / Develop critical professional & personal skills, including communication, building business and agency relationships, time management, project management & analytical skills Who We Are Looking For: / Passion for marketing, especially social or digital / Candidates must have an interest in the multifaceted and fast-paced retail environment / Exhibits strong attention to detail, organization and superior time management skills / Displays effective verbal and written communication / Has the ability to think strategically, understand retail industry and business trends / Comfortable working in both a collaborative team environment and individually / Exhibits drive, resourcefulness and a willingness to learn / Experience in Instagram, TikTok, and CapCut preferred / Required software: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel
