Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional
Job Description:
- Promote Pfizer’s Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels
- Launch new products and develop strategies to manage business relationships
- Understand and secure formulary access
- Conduct product promotion within the assigned geography
- Drive sales in the assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives
- Engage customers face to face and virtually
- Develop and implement business and territory call plans
- Identify and implement live and virtual customer engagement strategies
- Build rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments
- Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
- Use approved clinically oriented disease state information and patient resources compliantly
- Demonstrate market knowledge across Public Health, Private Market, Retail and other relevant channels
- Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management and other cross-functional colleagues
- Complete administrative responsibilities, including customer call entries, expense submissions and responses to internal requests
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity; small business owner or other entrepreneurial experience; marketing, customer service and/or account management; relevant healthcare/scientific roles; educator roles; or full-time military experience
- Alternative qualification: associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience
- Alternative qualification: high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
- Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
- Permanent work authorization in the United States
- Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
- At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical-related marketing experience preferred
- Prior vaccines experience strongly preferred
- Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, communications skills, teamwork, leadership ability and accountability preferred
- Experience with Vaccines therapeutic area and products preferred
- Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets preferred
- Reside within the territory boundaries preferred
