Why you'll love this job <ul><li>This role is part of the Fuel and Energy team within our Procurement group.</li><li>This role is responsible for assisting the Company's fuel group by tacking budget and forecast, data collection and analysis of invoices, payments and suppliers' spend, monthly status reporting to management, and streamlining processes utilizing Excel, Tableau, and SAP</li><li>This role is also responsible for analyzing the financial position of American Airlines by maintaining and enhancing current fuel forecasting, budget, and other financial models </li></ul>What You'll Do As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations <ul><li>Track and manage QT invoices, budget, forecast.</li><li>Assist with month-end close and reconciliation and coordinate with Fuel Accounting</li><li>Audit Into-Plane and M&O invoices and update Mapper</li><li>Track Transportation gain/ loss and Transmix and reimbursements from vendors</li><li>Assist in Fuel admin yearly budget process</li><li>Data collection, collation, and analysis using Tableau and Excel</li><li>Coordinate and/or provide any necessary training to AA station operations teams or station fuel vendors.</li><li>Support Implementation of QT at any new AA stations</li><li>Provide monthly status updates to the management</li><li>Track/update departments’ workbrain requests</li><li>Any Adhoc tasks as deemed necessary by the management </li></ul>All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other relevant field or equivalent experience/training</li><li>2 years of work experience </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience <ul><li>Experience in Finance position, including experience with financial modeling and analysis </li></ul>Skills, Licenses, & Certifications <ul><li>Knowledge of Tableau, SAP, and/or Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.</li><li>Superior analytical skills</li><li>Adaptability and flexibility in the use of analytical approaches retaining to financial issues</li><li>Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with all levels of management</li><li>Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations</li><li>Advanced aptitude in problem-solving, including the ability to logically structure an appropriate analytical framework </li></ul>What You'll Get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: <ul><li>Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
