Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently
Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a positive experience for all guests
Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and beverage preparation stations
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
Assist in food preparation tasks to support quick service during busy periods
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards

Qualifications

Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; a passion for coffee and customer interaction is essential
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
Ability to stand, walk, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper beverage preparation techniques
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
