This position independently handles claims under BWS self-insured programs, including liability and automobile claims, from investigation through final resolution. Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at an accredited college/university in the United States. Applicable Skills: <ul><li>Knowledge of the principles and practices of insurance claims adjusting.</li><li>Knowledge of risk management principles, concepts and practices.</li><li>Knowledge of claims investigations and settlement techniques.</li><li>Knowledge of interviewing and investigating methods and techniques.</li><li>Ability to investigate, evaluate, adjust and settle liability, property, personal injury, and automobile claims.</li><li>Ability to read and evaluate medical reports relating to claims for injury.</li><li>Ability to exercise sound judgment in analyzing and evaluating a wide variety of claim data to identify issues and make recommendations for the adjustment of claims.</li></ul> LICENSE REQUIREMENT: Possession of a valid driver's license (Type 3/automobile), prior to appointment.
