Job Description:

Job Title: Shipping and Order Clerk/Warehouse Worker/Inventory Clerk
Location: Jacksonville Florida 32256
Duration: 4+ Month Contract position

Shift: 9 AM to 6 PM

Summary:

Shipping & Order Clerk (Junior) The Shipping & Order Clerk (Junior) role supports the Repair shipping process efforts for large-volume product movement.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, orders, invoices, or other records.

· Determines method of shipment according to company's guidelines.

· Assembles cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers and inserts items into containers.

· Logs, inspects, packs and stages product for shipment.

· Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto containers.

· Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.

· Maintains integrity of the shipping logs and ensures all transactions are handled systematically.

· Performs other related tasks as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications:

· High School diploma is required.

· Fluent in written and spoken English.

· Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.

· Possess excellent communicational skills, verbal, written, and listening.

· Ability to regularly walk, reach with hands and arms. The team member is frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

· Ability to occasionally to stand and sit for long periods of time.

· Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds both assisted and unassisted.

· Ability to work in an unconditioned warehouse environment to include extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on the time of the year.

· Proficiency in Word, Excel, Email, and other standard MS Office products required.
