Location: Various warehouse facilities across NJ, near Carteret
Schedule: Per diem, 5:00 AM to 7:30 AM
Pay: $125 flat day rate

About the Role

We are looking for reliable, safety-minded people to work as spotters for our access point technicians. Technicians go up on forklifts to replace access points in warehouse facilities, and the spotter keeps the work area safe from the ground.

The 5:00 AM to 7:30 AM window makes this a great fit as a second job before your primary job. You will be finished and paid a full $125 for a short morning shift.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the ground spotter while technicians work at height on forklifts
  • Keep the work zone clear of foot traffic, vehicles, and other equipment
  • Watch the lift and surrounding area, and communicate clearly with the technician
  • Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately
  • Follow all site-specific safety rules and procedures
  • Assist with basic setup and staging in the work area as needed

Requirements

  • Complete a free online safety certification before starting (details provided)
  • Reliable transportation to job sites throughout NJ
  • Punctuality and dependability for an early start
  • Ability to stand and remain alert for the full shift in a warehouse environment
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety instructions precisely
