Police Bodycam Commentator – Remote YouTube Host - Contract to Hire

We run a YouTube channel that breaks down real police bodycam footage, and we're looking for an on-camera host. Active or retired officers are welcome. The format is simple: you watch real stops, calls, and incidents, then talk us through what's happening, including the law, tactics, and decisions being made, all explained in plain English for a general audience. Think Sergeant Curtis style (youtube.com/@SergeantCurtis). This is a fully remote position, so you record from home. On the production side, we've partnered with video editors from one of the biggest bodycam channels on YouTube, so all editing, graphics, and production are handled for you. We're looking for someone with a police background, active or retired, from any rank. Detective, investigative, or SWAT experience always stands out to us, but patrol officers are absolutely welcome too. You should be comfortable and natural speaking to camera without a script, and able to explain police tactics and the law clearly without relying on jargon. Reliability and a consistent turnaround on recordings are important. Experience in DUI/DRE, K9, investigations, or supervision is a plus, as is any previous on-camera, teaching, or public-speaking experience.
