About the Role

A Big Improvement is seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented laborer to join our residential remodeling team. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone eager to learn the trades and grow in the construction industry. Whether you have some experience or none at all – if you’re a fast learner with a great attitude and strong communication skills, we want to hear from you.

Duties Include

Assisting with residential remodeling projects (kitchens, bathrooms, basements, etc.) – Demo, prep, cleanup, and general labor
Supporting skilled tradesmen with materials and tools
Learning basic carpentry, drywall, tiling, and other trade skills
Following jobsite safety protocols
Communicating clearly and respectfully with the team and clients
Representing the company professionally on job sites

Reliable transportation to job sites in and around McLean, VA
Strong work ethic and punctuality
Good communication is a must
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle physical labor
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to receive 1099 pay
