You will report directly to the Americas Sales Director and work remotely from anywhere in the contiguous United States .

In this role, you will help expand Tridium’s market presence by growing its channel ecosystem, identifying new opportunities, strengthening partner relationships, and advancing adoption of the Niagara Framework across building-automation markets.
Travel Requirement: This role requires a minimum of 50% travel across the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
 

• Develop and execute the business-development strategy for Tridium’s commercial operations and channel ecosystem.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and customer segments to grow market share.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with distributors, OEMs, system integrators, controls contractors, and other channel partners.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of business-development professionals to achieve revenue, partner-growth, and market-expansion targets.
• Develop account and territory plans, monitor market trends and competitive activity, and use data to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, technical support, and operations teams to deliver a strong partner and customer experience.
• Support channel enablement, partner recruitment, business reviews, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Travel as needed to support customers, partners, industry events, and business-development priorities.
   

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years of business-development, channel-sales, or related commercial experience.
• Proven success driving revenue growth, acquiring new customers or partners, and achieving sales targets.
• Experience selling or supporting building automation systems, building mechanical systems, or related connected-building technologies.
• Experience with the Niagara Framework, Niagara 4, or comparable building-automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of channel sales structures, including distributors, OEMs, system integrators, controls contractors, and value-added partners.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess market opportunities, risks, and competitive dynamics.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The salary range for this position is $112,600–$139,100. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
