Position Title: Tax Manager

Location: Remote

Duration: 04 months contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a Compliance and Reporting Tax Manager (seasonal) to join our team during a critical period of the tax cycle. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in corporate tax compliance, ASC 740/IAS 12 tax provision review, and federal income tax accounting and a proven ability to manage multiple complex engagements, perform technical tax research, and deliver accurate provisions and filings.

Responsibilities:

· Review corporate tax provisions and related calculations under ASC 740 and/or IAS 12.

· Support federal corporate tax compliance and tax accounting activities.

· Assist with preparation and review of tax provision documentation.

· Perform technical tax research and develop clear written analyses.

· Identify opportunities to improve tax processes and workflows.

· Manage multiple complex projects and prioritize deadlines and deliverables.

· Collaborate with internal teams in a virtual environment.

· Apply technical knowledge of federal income taxation and corporate tax matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership.

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

· Minimum 4 years of experience in tax provision, tax accounting, and corporate tax compliance.

· Proficiency in federal income taxation and corporate tax matters, including ASC 740 and/or IAS 12.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and produce clear written analyses.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience in public accounting with a top or mid-tier firm.

· Broad experience with corporate tax compliance, tax accounting, and complex tax engagements.
