Job Title: Manager I, Health and Wellness Benefits Department: Human Resources Country: United States of America State/Province: Arkansas City: Lowell Full/Part Time: Full time Job Summary: Under general direction, this position oversees a team responsible for the day-to-day delivery of Health and Wellness benefits programs and services (life, medical, dental, disability, and EAP). The role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations as well as internal policies, while maintaining service standards and responding to business and/or employee needs. The incumbent collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve escalated issues and enhance program effectiveness. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Oversee the administration of various health and wellness benefits programs, such as group life, medical, dental, disability, and EAP Promote long-term program outcomes by contributing to strategy discussions and aligning the day-to-day execution to the overall vision Manage the administration of benefits policies and procedures and that they're being delivered fairly and consistently Coordinate company-wide benefits events, including wellness week, open enrollment, and other Health and Wellness benefits promotions, on a regular cadence and as needed to increase employee awareness, understanding, and engagement with available offerings Ensure benefits administration actions are completed accurately and on time, e.g., claims resolution, change reporting, invoice for payments; uphold metrics for service delivery and recommend actions plans that improve accuracy, responsiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction Oversee designated benefits programs and activities comply with related federal and state rules and regulations, e.g., Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Guide the implementation of new or enhanced benefits programs (e.g., medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, etc.) Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise and HR Operations to ensure that human resources core services are delivered effectively and efficiently Oversee the collection and overall accuracy of benefits data located within the HRIS Audit data that is transferred between the organization and benefits vendors; ensuring accurate benefit reporting Coordinate and oversee general activities of Health and Wellness benefit vendors, including performance reporting; participate in weekly and/or biweekly status meetings to ensure performance and established objectives are met, ensure member requests and needs are met satisfactorily, and problems resolved in a timely manner; ensure engagement in support of any escalated needs Serve as an escalation point by leveraging expertise and partnering with internal teams to promote balanced, compliant outcomes Perform personnel tasks including, but not limited to staffing, performance management, annual review, and time and attendance Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business/Business Management, or related field with 5 or more years combination of Health and Wellness Benefits Programs Administration-related education, experience and training OR 9 years of combination of Health and Wellness Benefits Programs Administration-related education, experience and training Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business/Business Management, or related field with 5 or more years combination of Health and Wellness Benefits Programs Administration-related education, experience and training One or more relative certifications, such as Senior Professional in Human Resources, (SPHR), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)       Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment      Ability to adjust to new or changing assignments and processes              Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums       Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and peers    Ability to maintain confidentiality    Ability to manage multiple priorities             Experience with HRIS/Talent Management systems           Knowledge of approaches and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving operations or process problems         This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship. Compensation: Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.  This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
