Remote Outbound Enrollment & Appointment Setter (temporary)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Remote Outbound Enrollment & Appointment Setter to join our healthcare team. The specialist will make outbound calls to prospective members, introduce healthcare services and health plan options, identify their needs, and schedule qualified enrollment appointments. The role requires strong communication and sales skills, the ability to build rapport, handle objections, and work effectively toward appointment and performance goals while following established procedures and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate has previous experience in call center sales, appointment setting, collections, or healthcare enrollment, along with strong English and Spanish communication skills. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role that requires reliability, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team. Must be available for an initial three-month commitment, with the possibility of a long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective members and qualified leads.
  • Introduce healthcare services and health plan options and identify member needs.
  • Schedule qualified enrollment appointments and follow up with leads.
  • Use effective sales techniques to build rapport, overcome objections, and secure appointments.
  • Provide accurate information and professional customer service by phone and email.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, appointments, follow-ups, and customer interactions.
  • Meet individual and team appointment and performance targets.
  • Follow established scripts, procedures, and government-required guidelines.
  • Collaborate with enrollment and team members to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Perform related administrative and customer service tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
  • Proficient level of Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients, vendors, and teammates.
  • Previous experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, call centers, collections, or healthcare enrollment.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle objections and overcome customer rebuttals effectively.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and working toward performance targets.
  • Must be available for an initial three-month commitment, with the possibility of a long-term opportunity.
  • Ability to follow scripts, procedures, and compliance requirements accurately.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales-tracking systems is a plus.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
