Sr. Lead SME Oracle Fusion Payroll Process Techno-Functional Analyst

This position is more technical in nature and requires a senior Oracle Fusion Payroll Process professional who has 10+ years of Oracle Fusion Payroll Cloud experience and has been personally responsible for running and supporting payrolls from end to end.

The ideal candidate has run and supported many payroll cycles, can independently troubleshoot complex payroll issues, and has served as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion Payroll on their team.

Required Experience & Core Skills

  • 10+ years of Oracle Fusion Payroll Cloud experience
  • Solely responsible for or directly owned end-to-end payroll processing
  • Experience running and supporting multiple payroll cycles, including regular, off-cycle, QuickPay, retro, pre-payments, costing and payments
  • Oracle Fusion Payroll configuration: payroll structures, elements, eligibility, earnings, deductions, payment methods and balances
  • Payroll troubleshooting: gross-to-net, elements, deductions, balances, calculations, retro and payroll processing issues
  • Fast Formulas: develop, modify, debug and troubleshoot payroll calculations and business rules
  • Payroll Flows: customize seeded Payroll Flow Patterns, including tasks, sequencing, parameters, dependencies and troubleshooting
  • HDL/HSDL: perform payroll and workforce data loads, troubleshoot errors and reverse/retract committed HDL loads and perform controlled reloads
  • UKG/Kronos time-entry experience and integration of time data into Oracle Payroll
  • Payroll integrations: HCM Extracts, third-party payroll/vendor interfaces and file-based integrations
  • Reporting: OTBI, BI Publisher and HCM Extracts for payroll, reconciliation, headcount and department reporting
  • Organization-wide payroll data: ability to analyze payroll, headcount, department, employee and organizational data across large populations-not just an assigned group of employees
  • Payroll costing & GL: costing, accounting distributions, GL transfers and payroll-to-GL reconciliation
  • Testing: CRP, SIT, UAT, regression and parallel payroll testing
  • Subject Matter Expert: serve as the team's go-to expert for Oracle Fusion Payroll, independently diagnosing issues and advising Payroll, HR, Finance and IT

What We Are Looking For

This is not simply a Payroll functional support position. We are looking for someone who has actually run and supported Oracle Fusion Payroll, understands what happens throughout the entire payroll cycle, and can independently investigate a problem from the employee/time-entry data through elements Fast Formula payroll calculation balances deductions costing accounting GL.
