Account Executive I/II – Chronic Migraine, Spasticity & Movement Disorders

Job Description:

  • Perform all aspects of account management for assigned institutional accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow sales and market share
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision makers and stakeholders in neurology and urology departments and hospital systems
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute account opportunities
  • Provide strategic and tactical direction to regional and district teams regarding target accounts
  • Advise sales and marketing management on challenges and opportunities within key accounts
  • Assess team learning needs and coordinate targeted training
  • Develop annual business plans with goals and objectives across FDA-approved indications
  • Identify local opportunities and threats and modify business plans accordingly
  • Anticipate customer and market changes and take proactive measures
  • Analyze financial and quantitative data and assess profitability and sales impact
  • Partner with Field Sales Managers to evaluate and penetrate institutional account drivers
  • Bring account-level analysis, identify opportunities, and recommend actions to grow volume and market share
  • Maintain compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and industry requirements
  • Engage with neurology, urology, pain, and movement centers, teaching hospitals, IDNs, VA hospitals, DoD hospitals, and other institutional accounts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
  • 3+ years of health science field or sales experience, including a minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical sales
  • In lieu of degree: 8+ years of health science sales experience, including a minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical sales
  • Ability to network and partner effectively across functional areas
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Proven record of managing multiple stakeholders in complex environments
  • Must satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements
  • Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain required HCIR credentials
  • Must meet applicable background check, drug screen, immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city license requirements
  • Ability to drive a personal auto or company vehicle/equipment, as applicable
  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time
