Data Clerk (2nd shift)

Vaulted is a waste management company that removes carbon. We take organic waste that can pollute our environment above ground and safely inject it ultra deep underground—permanently removing carbon from the atmosphere while protecting local land, air, and water. Vaulted is based in Houston, San Francisco, and Kansas.<br><br>With a growing team of 70+ people across the country, Vaulted signed the second largest carbon removal offtake ever with Microsoft in July 2025 and is rapidly expanding to new sites.<br><br>Vaulted's proprietary technology builds on decades of expertise to deliver safe, durable carbon and waste management solutions now, at scale.<br><br><strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>At Vaulted, we have an aggressive plan to rapidly grow our team and subsequent climate impact. As the Data Clerk, you will be responsible for collecting and maintaining material data that strategically align with business objectives and growth plans. Responsibilities include:<br><br><ul><li>Scale and accurately record incoming loads in the data system. </li><li>Verify load documentation and ensure all required information is complete and accurate. </li><li>Maintain sampling and coordinate shipping of required material tests per compliance guidelines. </li><li>Track and document test results to ensure materials meet quality and regulatory standards. </li><li>Oversee the processing of material transactions through the data management system. </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate data entry for all inbound and outbound material movements. </li><li>Communicate with drivers and operations staff regarding load details and discrepancies. </li><li>Monitor system data for errors and resolve inconsistencies promptly. </li><li>Maintain organized digital and physical records within the scale house/office. </li><li>Assist with reporting requirements related to material volumes and testing. </li><li>Support billing and reconciliation processes by providing accurate load data. </li><li>Follow company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Provide general administrative support within the scale house/office as requested. </li><li>Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow. </li><li>Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve data accuracy, streamline scale house processes, and enhance overall operational efficiency<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Will Bring<br><br></strong>To succeed in this role, and to help the company succeed in our mission, the data clerk must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing needs. This role is a 2nd shift position (3:00 PM to 1:00 AM) and requires weekend flexibility.
