Finance Transformation Domain Architect
Job Description:
- Serve as subject matter expert for the design, development, and delivery of an assigned financial domain
- Provide consultation, insight, and recommendations on Cora and SUS financial system processes
- Guide solutions from concept through delivery and production implementation
- Identify gaps and lead standardization, integration testing, and validation before rollout to end users
- Ensure designs and development comply with government standards, including SOX
- Assess and establish business financial processes and standards with business stakeholders
- Translate business strategy and requirements into solutions for Corp, SBS, and OpCo end users
- Participate in design session reviews and ensure adherence to business and financial government standards
- Identify gaps during testing, deploy and test solutions, and lead sprints
- Maintain end-to-end financial system process documentation
- Define and enforce financial standards, procedures, metrics, and policies
- Provide coaching and training to internal and external business stakeholders
- Serve as technical owner and point of contact for domain-specific solutions
- Assist with transition readiness, go-live activities, and post-go-live stabilization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education in a Finance-related field
- 5+ years of progressive, related experience
- 2+ years of leadership-related experience (leading people or leading a process/project)
- Ability to create solutions and influence business stakeholders to achieve results
- Problem solving, team building, and total quality management skills
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and precedents to resolve diverse issues and make effective decisions
- Ability to monitor and control schedules and progress
- Ability to collaborate across functions within Sysco and with GPOs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialized accounting/finance ERP systems, such as Workday
- Currently authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to travel up to 25%
