Title: First Aid EMT Department: Guest Services Reports to: Manager, Guest Services FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Key Responsibilities Areas: <ul> <li>Provide emergency medical treatment to staff and guests</li> <li>Accurately record all treatment and assessment on patient care reports</li> <li>Keep current on protocols, changes, and changes in industry standards</li> <li>Obtain vital signs, perform physical assessments</li> <li>Gives recommendations for follow-up assessments/treatment</li> <li>Initiates worker’s compensation claims for Golden 1 Center</li> <li>Routine cleaning of workstation (first aid room)</li> <li>Additionally, welcome guests, provide assistance and direction for other arena services, and answer any questions our guests may have.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> Required Experience and Skills: <ul> <li>EMT certificate from college or technical school and one year of related experience.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with the public, providing clear and concise information.</li> <li>Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.</li> <li>Adhere to proper uniform and personal appearance standards.</li> <li>Work accurately and courteously in high-pressure environments.</li> <li>Attend in-person training.</li> <li>Reliable transportation is essential.</li> </ul> Availability: <ul> <li>Part-time, including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays as per the Golden 1 Center event calendar.</li> <li>Weekly hours will vary depending on scheduled events; not every event will require your presence.
