Looking for a Horror Game Writer (Game Writer / Narrative Designer)
We are looking for a professional writer with experience in writing horror game stories to work on an independent psychological horror game (Indie Horror Game).
Project Idea:
We have an initial game concept and story idea, and we need a writer who can transform it into a complete and impactful horror experience.
We want the story to be written in a way that makes the player feel like it is **a real incident or something that could happen to an ordinary person in real life**, with a focus on realism, psychological tension, and believable characters.
The writer can use real stories or events as inspiration, then rewrite and develop them to fit the game’s world, while adding new elements and creating an original plot.
Required Tasks:
Rewrite and develop the core idea into a strong and cohesive story.
Build a complete plot for the game from beginning to end.
Develop characters, their backgrounds, and motivations.
Write the full game script.
Write all dialogue in a natural and realistic way.
Design the sequence of events and scenes to fit the gameplay experience.
Build psychological horror and suspense gradually.
Add secrets, hints, and hidden events when needed.
Write dialogue choices if they fit the story.
Improve the pacing and ending to make the player's experience more impactful.

Proven experience writing video game stories.

Ability to create fear and tension without relying only on jumpscares.
Previous published work or actual game projects.
