Title: The Simplified Mind
Title: The Simplified Mind
Hi,
I’ve written a 70,000-word non-fiction book in personal development — the same shelf as Atomic Habits and Loving What Is. It’s complete, fully drafted, and structured in five parts across eighty-five short entries of 800 to 1,200 words each.
My background is finance, banking and construction: seventeen years working a commercial lending book, delivering property schemes, and more recently forensic accounting. This is my first book and I’ve never worked with an editor.
What I’m looking for: - i have created the manuscript, base mechanism is set, observations, relations, though behind everything is explained. Need to see it, and then build the book in best way we can bringing and clearly in the languange market likes to see it. I'll be providing all clarifications and clearly why it is what i want to acheive out of it. Need to be able to take the whole book to agents or self publish in the end if that doesnt work out. Proposal for agents, chapters and whole book.
Disclosed up front, since you invite it: I dictated this book in full and every argument, example and correction is mine, but the drafting was done with AI and the text has been AI-edited throughout. I want a human editor to take it from here, and I’d rather you knew before quoting.

Book details
Non-fiction, personal development. Five parts, fourteen chapters, eighty-five entries. c. 70,000 words, complete. Five explanatory diagrams and a sources page with citations checked against originals.
Target market
Personal development and practical psychology. Adults managing work, money, family and obligation at once — the readers who buy Atomic Habits and Loving What Is. Written in plain language, no jargon.
Because the material came out of commercial settings rather than out of self-help, a good deal of it also reads across to professional and organisational use — management training, mediation and coaching. It is written for one individual reader at a time, though, and is not a business book.
