Hot Shot Driver
<strong>Job Objective<br><br></strong>Drives gasoline or diesel powered tractor to transport trailers on company property or on public highway. Must possess or be able to complete requirements for Commercial Driver’s License.<br><br><strong>Essential Duties And Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Drives truck to destination</li><li>Inspects trucks for defects before and after trips and reports any discrepancies indicating truck condition to supervisor.</li><li>Must be able to drop and spot trailers on finished goods lot.</li><li>Must be able to back trailers in and out of receiving dock as well as service bays in said department.</li><li>Maneuvers trailers in and around tight corners, through manufacturing areas and around high pedestrian traffic.</li><li>Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong>Commercial Driver’s License (A)<br><br>Less than high school education; or up to 6 months related experience or training.<br><br><strong>Physical Demands<br><br></strong>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear.<br><br>While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.<br><br>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
