We anticipate **2+ articles per month**, with the potential for additional content as the relationship develops.

* Contract considerations

* Business ownership transitions

* Business continuity planning

* Common legal mistakes business owners make

Topics and outlines may be provided, or the writer may be asked to recommend topics based on the firm's practice areas, target audience, and content strategy.

## Responsibilities

* Research and write original, accurate legal content

* Translate complex legal concepts into client-friendly language

* Maintain a professional, authoritative tone appropriate for a law firm

* Incorporate SEO best practices naturally

* Develop compelling headlines and subheadings

* Structure articles for readability and online engagement

* Identify credible legal authorities and sources when appropriate

* Incorporate attorney feedback and requested revisions

* Meet agreed-upon deadlines consistently

## Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience writing **legal content**, preferably for law firms or attorneys.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience writing about **estate planning, trusts, probate, business law, or related legal topics**

* Strong legal research and writing skills

* Ability to write for a prospective-client audience rather than an academic/legal audience

* Strong understanding of SEO content principles

* Excellent grammar, organization, and attention to detail

* Ability to accurately research legal concepts and distinguish between general legal information and jurisdiction-specific requirements

* Ability to take direction while also bringing thoughtful topic ideas to the table

* Reliable communication and deadline management

**Paralegals, legal assistants, attorneys, or other legal professionals with strong writing experience are encouraged to apply.**

## Compensation

Compensation will be **per article**, based on article length, complexity, research requirements, and experience.

Additional articles may be available based on the firm's content needs and the writer's availability.

##How To Apply

Please provide:

1. A brief introduction and summary of your legal writing experience

2. Your experience writing about **estate planning and/or business law**

3. **2–3 relevant writing samples**, preferably published legal content

4. Your typical turnaround time for a 1,000–1,500 word article

5. Your **per-article rate**

6. Your availability for at least **2 articles per month**

We are looking for a long-term freelance relationship with a writer who can consistently produce **accurate, thoughtful, client-focused legal content** rather than high-volume generic blog posts.
