Licensed Health Insurance Agent – Medicare
Job Description:
- Answer inbound calls from customers exploring Medicare health insurance options
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments using active listening and consultative sales techniques
- Educate customers on available Medicare health plans, benefits, products, and services
- Recommend solutions based on each customer’s healthcare and coverage needs
- Guide conversations toward successful enrollment
- Complete health plan enrollments while meeting sales and performance expectations
- Identify additional customer needs and available solutions when appropriate
- Build trust with members and prospective customers through clear communication
- Navigate multiple systems while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Protect customer information and follow privacy, security, and HIPAA requirements
- Represent BroadPath, a Sagility Company, and client partners professionally
Requirements:
- Active resident Health Insurance Producer License
- Ability to obtain reciprocal state health insurance licenses when required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous sales, customer service, call center, or health insurance experience preferred
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Customer-focused approach with ability to build trust and rapport
- Strong computer navigation skills and ability to work across multiple systems
- Accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working remotely
- 19" or larger monitor with VGA or HDMI port and appropriate cable
- USB wired mouse; USB wired keyboard optional
- Reliable hardwired internet connection with minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload
- Ethernet cable
