About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a remote, part-time, on-call capacity. This role is ideal for RNs passionate about supporting patient care, seeking flexible scheduling, and preferring to work from home in a non-clinical setting. As an on-call RN, you will assist with complex cases escalated by case management care coaches (LPNs), including triage, taking over patient calls, or conducting follow-ups directly with patients.

Requirements

Fluent in English
Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting performance metrics
Passionate about nursing and improving patient outcomes
Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new systems and platforms
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and telephonic skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Education and Experience

Current, unrestricted Compact Multi-State RN License (required)
3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (required)
Case Management or Chronic Disease Management experience (required)
Proficiency with electronic health records and web-based applications

Scheduling and Other Requirements

Reliable, high-speed internet-connected computer (equipment not provided)
Minimum of 20-25 hours of availability per week
This role cannot be held alongside a full-time position
Shifts scheduled in advance, between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday
No evening or weekend hours available
Self-scheduling using our scheduling software
Availability by phone for the full 8-hour on-call shift

Benefits

$40 flat rate per shift, plus $15 for each patient call placed
Flexible scheduling

Pay Timing

Monthly via direct deposit, 40 days after the end of the service month (due to Medicare reimbursement processing times). Your monthly pay is guaranteed after the month concludes.
