Role Description

This is a contract role for a Payment Systems Specialist. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining robust payment processing solutions, including gateways, payment portals, and retail credit card systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with payment system implementation, head devices, token management, and end-to-end transaction workflows. This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance payment processing systems, including integration with gateways and payment portals.
Support implementation of retail credit card processing and head device solutions.
Manage and optimize tokenization processes for secure transaction handling.
Administer and execute operational procedures to support payment technology infrastructure.
Identify and resolve issues related to payment products and services.
Contribute to project management and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong background in payment systems architecture and implementation.
Experience working with payment gateways, terminals/head devices, and credit card processing platforms.
Knowledge of token management and security best practices in financial transactions.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and process improvement.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
