There is seasonal exposure to weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, wetness, and humidity. The work environment includes regular exposure to physical risks and hazards such as mechanical equipment, moving machinery, forklifts, chemical hazards, electrical hazards, fire and explosion risks, and communicable diseases. The position requires standing and walking throughout the office, warehouse, and plant, lifting and carrying packages up to 50 pounds, and frequent reaching, kneeling, crawling, twisting, and use of fine dexterity. Clear vision, hearing, and professional communication with coworkers and others are essential. Personal protective equipment, including bump caps, safety glasses or goggles, gloves, ear plugs, lockout devices, fall protection, and other required PPE, is provided and must be used as directed. The work involves frequent time pressures, changing tasks, performing multiple tasks simultaneously, and detailed, exacting work. The schedule may include irregular hours and overtime.
