QA Analyst – Remote-First

Be part of a movement to change the way Europe pays In today’s digital world, payments often still feel outdated: random delays and confusing rules make it harder than it should be to pay and get paid. The reputed company (EPI) is here to change all that, forever. With Wero, our digital wallet, we make sending and receiving money simple, seamless and secure across France, Belgium and Germany, with more countries and omnichannel solutions coming soon. Supported by 14 major banks and the two largest European acquirers, EPI is building a new, proudly European payment system: easy, instant and transparent, all for the greater good. What's in it for you Done testing products that don't matter? EPI builds infrastructure for European financial sovereignty, every payment flow you validate, every edge case you uncover directly impacts millions of users and the future of independent European payments. Fed up with being siloed in a QA corner with no voice? You'll collaborate directly with Product, Engineering, and Design as the advocate for end-user experience, with real ownership over test environments, processes, and the evolution of our mobile testing practices. At EPI, we embrace a remote-first culture, enabling our teams to work remotely from the country they are based in, with in-person meetings at least once a quarter to foster collaboration and connection. About the team You'll join a distributed team of 8 experienced developers across Europe, led by Arthur— bringing your QA expertise to a squad that values quality as a shared responsibility. Your impact Validate every NFC payment flow across diverse devices and OS versions, uncovering edge cases in network loss, transaction failures, and hardware interactions before they reach production. Own and evolve our mobile test environments, maintaining POS devices, device labs, and integrations to ensure reliable, repeatable testing for a distributed engineering team. Act as the voice of quality and end-user experience throughout the development lifecycle, bridging Product, Engineering, and Design to catch risks early and ensure features meet both functional and security requirements. Enhance our mobile testing practices across iOS and Android platforms, documenting processes, refining regression suites, and gradually transitioning repetitive tests toward automation. Technology stack Experience testing native iOS and Android applications Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration Hands-on experience with reputed company and mobile crash reporting platforms (Crashlytics, Instabug, etc.) Knowledge of APIs and backend flows, particularly reputed company integration for monitoring and debugging. ‍♀️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements Proven experience in manual and exploratory testing of native mobile applications (iOS and Android) Strong ability to design and execute test scenarios for complex user journeys, including payment flows, onboarding, and security-sensitive features Excellent stakeholder collaboration skills – you work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to understand requirements and advocate for quality Experience with scripting or lightweight automation (Python, reputed company, or mobile testing tools) to improve test coverage would be a plus Familiarity with NFC payment technology, POS devices, or fintech testing would be nice to have Thrive in a remote-first, distributed team environment across Europe Clear and structured communication – you document defects effectively and share knowledge across squads If this looks like you, the recruitment steps are: A first call with one of our recruiters An interview focused on the mission and your expertise An interview focused on our company skills ⛔ Turn back if … You’re looking for an already highly structured environment with no ambiguity You prefer to work in isolation – this role requires constant collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Design throughout the development cycle Otherwise apply! Our commitment to equal employment opportunities EPI offers the same job opportunities to all, without distinction of gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, social status, disability or age. EPI promotes the development of an inclusive work environment that mirrors the diversity of the clients our product is serving. Apply To This Job
