What You'll Do

As a Patient Care Representative, you'll be a trusted point of contact for patients, their families, insurance representatives, and referring healthcare provider offices. Every interaction is a chance to provide clear guidance and genuine support, often during a stressful time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Professionally answer inbound calls from patients, family members, and provider offices
• Make outbound calls to welcome new patients and assist with scheduling or rescheduling appointments
• Listen carefully to understand each caller's needs and provide accurate, clear information
• Adjust your tone and approach to fit the caller — professional and precise with provider offices, warm and empathetic with patients and families
• Partner with internal teams to help resolve scheduling, benefits, and account questions
• Accurately document every interaction while maintaining strict confidentiality
• Use good judgment to resolve issues, knowing when to bring in a colleague for more complex situations

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
• Must be able to attend a required, paid ~3-week in-person training at our Erie, PA office before transitioning to remote work
• Previous customer service, call center, healthcare, or related experience preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace (for the remote portion)
