Job Summary
Client Support – Purchaser Assist Specialist at Aetna. Location: Grand Rapids, USA. Salary: $20-30 per hour.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM MST with occasional overtime and weekend work as requested. Hybrid work options are available based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Resolve purchaser-initiated plan participant issues.
- Provide assistance through email, fax, case, and phone. Respond to support queue items promptly.
- Track all customer contacts in database, create touch histories, identify trends, support forecasting and reporting.
- Help with plan benefits override requests at purchaser demand.
- Provide feedback to purchaser care management on service incidents and grow vendor opportunities.
- Collaborate with account management team to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and trend monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of customer support experience.
- 1+ year of call center experience.
- 1+ year of health care industry experience.
- Verifiable high school diploma or GED.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PeopleSafe, RXClaim, Salesforce, Moxie and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of plan designs and purchaser programs.
- Strong partnership building and ability to navigate a complex organizational structure.
Education
- Required – Verifiable high school diploma or GED.
- Preferred – Final level of training, including Bachelor's degree and/or specialized education certification(s).
