This is more than management — it's the art of creating unforgettable legacies!</p><p><strong>Operational Leadership:</strong></p><p>· Effectively communicate the company's strategy and goals to department heads and staff, ensuring their successful execution.</p><p>· Manage an efficient and precise administrative process that complies with statutory, legal, and internal requirements.</p><p>· Consistently follow all resort standards and procedures at all times.</p><p>· Assist in performing departmental operational audits and support the development of corrective action plans; demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.</p><p>· Supervise operations to guarantee adherence to company policies and procedures, while ensuring employees deliver complete guest satisfaction.</p><p>· Oversee Health, Safety, and Welfare procedures to ensure full compliance with current and future legislation, and that all employees abide by the relevant rules and regulations.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Strategic Vision:</strong></p><p>· Contribute to the development and formulation of the property's strategic plan.</p><p>· Provide regular updates to the General Manager regarding operational achievements and key issues, and ensure the strategic plan is reviewed monthly to track progress and implementation.</p><p>· Stay informed about current business trends and local developments.</p><p>· Develop a keen attention to detail across all areas of the resort property.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Sustainability:</strong></p><p>· Incorporate sustainable practices into all hotel operations in line with Belmond's dedication to environmental stewardship and the preservation of the island's natural beauty and cultural heritage.</p><p>· Ensure that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) remains a top priority in all operational activities and decision-making processes.</p><p>· Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities to develop and continuously enhance CSR initiatives, promoting sustainable tourism that respects the environment and local culture.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Business & Financial Acumen:</strong></p><p>· Prepare the budget and monitor revenue streams.</p><p>· Manage labor cost controls to stay within budget limits and occupancy variations, optimizing productivity.</p><p>· Control operating and merchandising expenses.</p><p>· Achieve financial objectives.</p><p>· Comply with all directives and requirements from Ownership.</p><p>· Ensure leadership teams maintain detailed oversight of their departmental budgets and costs, with particular focus on FTE, labor costs, overtime management, and scheduling aligned with forecasts and occupancy.</p><p> </p><p><strong>People Leadership & Talent Development:</strong></p><p>· Embed Belmond Behaviors and Manifestos as core elements of the employee experience.</p><p>· Collaborate with the General Manager and Human Resources Director on recruitment and talent retention matters.</p><p>· Foster a strong organizational culture that attracts, retains, and develops high-caliber talent, establishing the organization as a desirable workplace and cultivating a winning environment.</p><p>· Conduct performance evaluations for department heads and ensure that managers, assistant managers, and administrators receive their appraisals according to the planned schedule.</p><p>· Monitor employee grievances and disciplinary procedures.</p><p>· Ensure regular on-the-job training is conducted within each department.</p><p>· Promote goodwill, fairness, and maintain an open-door policy toward all employees.</p><p>· Demonstrate exemplary leadership and communicate positively and effectively.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Guest Experience & Brand Elevation:</strong></p><p>· Cultivate a service-oriented culture that surpasses guest expectations through a passion for excellence and meticulous attention to detail.</p><p>· Maintain a visible presence throughout the property, acting as a representative for both guests and employees.</p><p>· Represent the business and company by fostering relationships, serving as an ambassador for Belmond with suppliers and the wider community both locally and internationally.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Team Collaboration:</strong></p><p>· Maintain and promote positive relationships with members and suppliers.</p><p>· Build strong relationships with the leadership team, staff members, and the local community, fostering respect and understanding of local culture.<br><br><br><br></p><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p><ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field</li> <li>At least five years of proven senior or executive leadership experience in renowned international luxury hotels, delivering outstanding results</li> <li>Deep understanding of the expectations tied to a high-end resort environment, with an ADR exceeding US$1500</li> <li>Proven ability to surpass Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) scores (90+ points) and uphold Forbes Travel Guide Five Star standards, ensuring meticulous quality and brand adherence</li> <li>Strong strategic mindset with demonstrated success in business planning and execution</li> <li>Inspirational leadership skills that motivate teams towards excellence</li> <li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities;
