As a Senior Scrum Master at Our Client, you will lead Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions in the financial services industry. Your expertise in Agile methodologies and servant leadership will ensure teams stay aligned, focused, and productive while adhering to Capco's standards of excellence. This role is ideal for a skilled Scrum Master who thrives in a collaborative environment, excels at removing obstacles, and is passionate about driving team success through continuous improvement.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment and engagement across the team.
  • Act as a servant leader, empowering the team to deliver value by removing roadblocks and promoting self-organization.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and ready for development.
  • Guide teams in adhering to Agile principles and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), while tailoring practices to team and project needs.
  • Monitor team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance velocity and quality.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, experimentation, and feedback loops.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and alignment, particularly in large-scale Agile environments.
  • Address and resolve team dynamics or conflicts, promoting a healthy and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure transparency by maintaining and communicating team progress through tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

What You'll Bring With You:

  • Technical and Methodological Skills:
    • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in cross-functional software development teams.
    • Strong understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
    • Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
    • Experience in leading teams through Agile transformations or scaling Agile practices in large organizations.
    • Familiarity with metrics-driven approaches, including burn-down charts, velocity tracking, and release planning.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent facilitation and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to foster trust and collaboration.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to align diverse stakeholders and team members.
    • Adaptive mindset to tailor Agile practices to fit team and project needs.
    • Proven ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments while maintaining morale and focus.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certifications.
    • Background in financial services, fintech, or related industries.
    • Experience working in a distributed or remote team environment.
