Shopify + Easyship Expert Needed to Reduce International Shipping Costs and Improve Store

We operate a UK-based Shopify e-commerce store and are looking for an experienced Shopify consultant with strong Easyship and international shipping expertise.

Our immediate priority is shipping. International shipping costs are currently too high, and we want someone who can review our existing Shopify/Easyship configuration, identify what is driving the costs, and recommend and implement a more efficient setup.

We are not simply looking for someone to install the Easyship app. We want someone who understands the economics and configuration of international e-commerce shipping and can determine the best approach for our business.

The initial assignment would include:

Review our current Shopify shipping configuration and rates.

Review our existing Easyship setup.

Analyze why our international shipping costs are high.

Recommend appropriate carriers, services, packaging assumptions, shipping rules and rate strategies.

Review duties/taxes and DDP vs. DDU options.

Determine whether Easyship is the best solution or whether Shopify's native shipping or another approach would be preferable.

Implement the agreed changes.

Test the customer checkout experience for several major international destinations.

There may also be a second phase involving improvements to the Shopify website itself. We have a Figma design direction and would like to improve:

Conversion rate

SEO

Site navigation and usability

Product presentation

Overall design

Therefore, experience with Shopify design and conversion optimization would be helpful, but deep shipping/Easyship expertise is the most important qualification for this initial project.
