Social Media & Paid Media Specialist - Remote Entry Level
We are looking for a strategic and analytical Social Media & Paid Media Specialist to lead the growth and execution of paid media and social media efforts. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and drive customer acquisition across paid and organic channels.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on marketer who understands how to build effective campaigns, track and analyze performance, manage a budget, create compelling content strategies, and continuously optimize campaigns based on data and results.

As the Social Media & Paid Media Specialist, you will play a meaningful role in shaping and growing the digital marketing strategy.
• Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
• Work with leadership to manage paid advertising budgets and allocate spend based on performance, business priorities, and growth opportunities.
• Build, launch, monitor, and optimize paid campaigns across the customer acquisition funnel.
• Develop audience targeting, retargeting, and segmentation strategies.
• Continuously test creative, messaging, audiences, landing pages, and campaign structures to improve performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators including return on ad spend, cost per acquisition, conversion rates, click-through rates, and overall customer acquisition costs.
• Identify opportunities to improve campaign efficiency and scale successful initiatives.
• Work closely with internal team leaders to ensure landing pages, offers, messaging, and campaigns are aligned.
• Develop and oversee the company's organic social media strategy across relevant platforms.
• Create and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with company goals, marketing campaigns, and seasonal opportunities.
• Develop strategies to increase engagement, reach, brand awareness, and audience growth.
• Partner with the content team to develop compelling social content, including short-form video, graphics, educational content, and promotional campaigns.
• Monitor social trends, emerging platforms, and changes in audience behavior to identify new opportunities.
• Manage the company's social media presence and ensure brand voice and messaging remain consistent across channels.
• Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement and ensure timely and appropriate responses.
• Establish and monitor reporting dashboards for paid and social media performance.
• Analyze campaign and audience data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Translate performance data into actionable recommendations for the team and leadership.
• Conduct regular A/B testing and performance analysis.
• Work with the broader marketing team to track the customer journey from initial engagement through conversion.
• Use data and insights to continuously refine marketing strategy and improve overall campaign performance.
• Work closely with content and partnerships team members along with company leadership to ensure marketing initiatives support broader business objectives.
• Support coordination of marketing activities to align campaigns across paid media, social media, content, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
• Help establish processes and best practices for paid media and social media execution.
• Help to develop and document scalable marketing processes as the company continues to grow.
• Experience managing paid advertising campaigns and budgets (even if limited or from coursework/projects).
• Familiarity with platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram, and other digital advertising channels.
• Understanding of organic social media strategy and content creation across platforms.
• Basic analytical skills and comfort using marketing performance data to guide decisions.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar reporting tools (full training provided).
• Understanding of conversion funnels, audience segmentation, retargeting, and digital customer acquisition.
• Exposure to CRM and marketing automation concepts is helpful but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment.
• Creative instincts and an understanding of what makes content effective on different social platforms.
• Interest in learning about SEO, email marketing, landing page optimization, and broader digital marketing strategies (training provided).
