VP, Marketing Science – Analytics
Job Description:
- Lead and manage a team of 10+ and oversee recruitment, training, development, talent management, and team goal attainment
- Build and maintain relationships with data, engineering, finance, and other leaders
- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide reliable metrics, support decision-making, guide strategic planning, and secure enterprise alignment
- Own programmatic media, audience strategy, campaign optimization, and optimization feedback loops
- Develop scalable data products to automate programmatic media workflows and data collection
- Develop customer segmentation approaches, audience-management technical requirements, personalized marketing activation strategies, and customer-lifecycle marketing automation
- Drive marketing attribution, lift measurement, econometric modeling, and channel measurement
- Develop strategies to measure marketing effectiveness and optimize budget and time allocation
- Own marketing reporting and insights generation, including roll-up reports for business reviews, partner reporting, executive leadership, board presentations, and ad hoc needs
- Provide proactive recommendations and business context for material data changes in collaboration with consumer insights
- Communicate marketing measurement methodology to cross-functional partners
- Oversee ad operations and ensure seamless advertising campaign execution
- Ensure privacy and legal compliance in marketing activities
- Develop and implement Martech strategies and oversee marketing technology evaluation and integration
- Stay current with industry processes and technologies, especially AI, and implement improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other science)
- 20+ years of experience in marketing science, value measurement, audience profiling, performance media, and experience with AI tools
- Strong knowledge of statistics for marketing data interpretation and modeling
- Experience in pipeline management to ensure data flow and integrity
- Proficiency in data visualizations to effectively communicate marketing insights
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a marketing science team
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with ability to find truth through data and use that understanding to drive organizational alignment from within marketing
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet marketing goals
- Engineering teams are responsible for supporting appropriate security controls, including management, operational, and technical controls in addition to general GoodRx best practices, such as reading and adhering to the security policies and procedures, being vigilant and observant of potential security threats, etc.
