Warehouse Receiver - 12-Hour Night Shift

We have two receiving openings for our night shifts. This is a 2-2-3 rotation on a 12-hour schedule of 7:00pm-7:00am.<br><br>Our warehouse teams that work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule as Receivers.<br><br>We pay our hourly team members weekly. Salaried positions are paid bi-monthly.<br><br>Hourly warehouse position pay ranges start at $24.00 and increase from there. Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance benefits begin day one. No waiting period!<br><br>Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise, order picking, and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. <br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Safely and efficiently move, place, and load product throughout the warehouse, plant, and transport vehicles.</li><li>Work to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and all teammates, always.</li><li>Collecting material from the distribution center and safely transport materials to the shipping bay. </li><li>Provide a positive experience and interaction for those dropping and/or picking up inventory, supplies, etc. </li><li>Manage all materials with appropriate care. </li><li>Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return in the system and on paper forms. </li><li>Ensure product, order, and/or transport information entered into the system is completed timely and accurately. </li><li>Keeping an inventory of all material entering or exiting the warehouse. </li><li>Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor. </li><li>Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.</li><li>Complete all required safety inspections on any equipment used.</li><li>Obtain and maintain a Cerro Wire issued forklift certification. </li><li>Run assigned equipment to prescribed guidelines at all times.</li><li>Assist with picking orders as needed.</li><li>If an unsafe action, process, or environment is seen immediately stop any and all actions that could cause injury or damage and report it to the leadership team.</li><li>Ensuring all duties, functions and responsibilities are completed in a safe manner. </li><li>Report any safety concerns, suggestions, or incidents to the leadership team immediately.</li><li>When unclear, ask question(s) to obtain a full and clear understanding of the task and/or standard at hand.</li><li>Scanning labels to ensure products are labeled accurately to reflect the correct product and weight. </li><li>Build, maintain, and continue to improve the 6S process in your assigned area. Support 6S efforts across the plant floor and property with every shift.</li><li>Assist where needed on the plant floor as assigned by leadership completing duties other than your regularly assigned duties. Including cleaning, organizing products, supplies, and materials in your area, across the plant floor, and property, supporting other operators with production, supporting maintenance with projects and other needs.
